Small white pin dish with gold edging marks the Maiden Boyage of the ms Norwegian Skyward in January of 1970, shows a detailed rendering in gold of the ship a-sail with gulls nearby. The ship's name is across the bottom, and the words "Maiden Voyage January 1970 around the top. The back is marked "Rosenthal Germany."
Size: Approximately 4" across, and about a half an inch high
Color: Gold on white
Condition: Very nice, with no chips, cracks, or grazing.
The ms Skyward sailed for Norwegian until 1991. She now sails as Leisure World, for New Century Cruises, of China.Norwegian Cruise Line was founded in 1966, as Norwegian Caribbean Line. Today, the line is jointly owned by the Genting Group, and Apollo Management..
