R.M.S. Mauretania

Programme of Events for the day on Monday, August 16, 1954, on the Cunard Line's R.M.S. Mauretania. A very nicely preserved small document that is over fice decades old, the inside left intrestingly advises passengers that clocks will be advanced 20 minutes at 5:00 pm, 11:00 pm, and 2:00 am. The inside right shows the times of movies, tea musuc and the evening news broadcast, among other things.
Folded size is approximately 6" high x 4.5" wide.

The R.M.S.Mauretania was the second such named ship that sailed for Cunard, and the first built for the Cunard-White Star Line. Except for periods of government service during both World Wars, she sailed her entire life (1938-1965) for Cunard.
