It's only a piece of paper - ont that's over 70 years old. This rare piece of Cunard White Star Line memorabilia is a programme from the eveningn of May 9, 1937, on which the movie, "For You Alone," starring Grace Moore and Cary Grant, was shown aboard the r.m.s. Berengaria, with proceeds going to various seaman's institutions. It's yellowed, but in pretty good shape for its age, and a nice representative piece from a time when Cunard White Star Steamers roamed the seas, with the Berengaria as their flagship.

The Berengaria started life in 1913, as the German ship ss Imperator. Shee served the US Navy for several months in 1919, ferrying troops home from WWI, before being transferred to Cunaard later that same year. Cunard eventually renamed her r.m..s. Berengaria, after the wife of Richard the Lionheart. Cunard White Star sold her in 1938, and she was slowly broken down by her new owner, finally disappearing in 1946.
