Two larger postcards for the Norwegian Sea, formerly an NCL ship. On one card, produced in 2001, the Sea is seen in tropical waters, lookung from land, and framed by tropical foliage, with tne ship name in a green banner across the top. The second card (2003) promotes the Sea's "Texaribbean" itinerary, and has the ships name in a gold panner across the top. Both cards are unused and in very good condition.
Size: Each card is approximately 5.5" x 9"
Condition: Very good.
NCL, founded in 1966, is best known for its "Freestyle Cruising." Of note is the fact that NCL owns and operates the only large U.S.flagged cruise ship.
The Norwegian Sea was built in 1988, and first sailed that year for NCL, under the name of Seaward. In 1997, she was renamed the Norwegian Sea. In 2005, she was transferred to the Star Cruises fleet, where she sails as the Superstar Libra.
