circa 1996 or 1997
Gambling Token used in the casinos' slot machines aboard Dolphin Cruise Line ships.
This is an official company 25 cent coin. On one side is the cruise line's logos (a dolphin), and on the other is a depiction of the bow of Dolphin's ship, the IslandBreeze. This is one of the tokens that was used in the on-board slot machines, and shows actual gaming wear. See pictures.
Size: a little less than 1" in diameter.
Condition: Good to Very Good
Dolphin Cruise Line was formed in 1984, and operated the Dolphin IV, the IslandBreeze, the SeaBreeze, and the OceanBreeze. Dolphin Cruise Line merged with two other lines (Sea Wind and Premier Cruise Lines) in 1997. Just over three years later, the new Premier Cruises was bankrupt.
