A unique momento from Celebrity Cruises!
This 8 1/2" long promo item is actually a size XL Celebrity T-Shirt, folded into (roughly) the shape of a ship, surrounded by thin cardboard, with the picture of Celebrity's Galaxy printed on it, and then shrink-wrapped. The top of the package displays Celebrity's famous X logo in white on a dark blue background.
Warning! If you ever try to wear the shirt, your ship will be gone! But, what a great conversation piece!
"Ship" is approximately 8.5" long, 1.75" high, and 2.25" wide.
The original Chandris Line, founded in 1988, used the Greek letter CHI (X) on their ship funnels. Eventhough the line became part of RCI in 1997, the signature X was retained, and today is recognized worldwide as a symble for Celebrity Cruises. The line currently sails a fleet of 11 ships, with four more slated to come on line over the next several years
