Unused baggage tag from the Regent Star . Or is is the Regent Sea? The front of the tag is printed with the Regency Logo and "m/v Regent Star." On the back, the same logo appears withe "Regent Sea" under the blanks for fulling in passenger and voyage information. Apparently a pruinting error - the discrepency makes this an interesting collector's piece.
Size: 2.1675" x 5.25"
Condition: Very Good, if not Excellent
The Regent Star was originally the 1956 built Statendam IV. She was sold to Regency Cruises in 1986, sailing for them as the Regent Star until the line went bankrupt in 1995. The Regent Sea was the original ms Gripsholm, and has the distinction of being Regency Cruises' first ship, sailing for them from 1984 until 1995. Both ships last carried cruise passengers in 1995.
